Fabulous tour
My friend and I took a tour with Miguel and he took us on 2 1/2 hour journey through the city. He covered a tremendous amount of material, everything from political and social history to how to find good street food. Book for your first day in Oaxaca!
I HIGHLY recommend booking this tour on the day of your arrival in Oaxaca. We were lucky enough that there was a 4pm tour, the perfect timing for us after we arrived. There's plenty of opportunity to sit during the tour as you stop at different sites. I will be recommending Laura to all my friends traveling to Oaxaca in the future. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and generous. She shares information so freely and comfortably that we are now even more excited to explore Oaxaca. We feel set up for success to see and eat more than we would have been able to find on our own. THANK YOU, LAURA! We had an incredible tour with Dejan - (hope I spelled your name correctly). The Oaxaca Free Walking Tour experience was way beyond our expectations. Using the wonderful local guides from this tour company really gives an extremely personalized view into the history and culture of Oaxaca. Great tour of Oaxaca!
My friends and I really enjoyed this walking tour. Laura is a knowledgeable guide and took us around to interesting places. We got some history, good places for chocolate tasting and Oaxaca food and drink, local landmarks and more. She answered our questions about random things and was easy to talk to. THE best start to our Oaxaca visit!
Lau was such an amazing ambassador for Oaxaca - full of love, pride and knowledge of her city! We got to learn and experience a range of history, architecture, culture, art, food and politics. I love a walking tour but this was truly one of the best, all because of Lau's great personality and spirit of generosity! Highly recommend this for your first day in Oaxaca to get all the inspiration you need for the rest of your stay.
